Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos
The Narwal Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is among the most efficient combinations I've ever tested. Its base station has large dustbin as well as a water tank, and its dual rubber brushes are less susceptible to hair tangles than single bristles.
Its mopping efficiency is impressive and its AI mapping excels in avoiding obstacles. It also has the ability to stop its cleaning task and then resume where it began.
1. Roomba Combo j9+
The Roomba Combo j9+ is one of the most advanced 2-in-1 robot vacuums and mop cleaners currently on the market. It features a sleek self-emptying Clean Base that can hold up to two mopping cycles at a time and is even designed to look like a small table. It's also the only robotic mop we've tested with a built-in water reservoir to automatically wash and refill the cleaning pads after each mopping and vacuum cycle.
The mopping arm sits unobtrusively on top of the unit until it spots hard floors, and then lowers to begin scrubs. It is able to move slowly and with care over surfaces to ensure that it doesn't accidentally spill wet mud or spills across carpeted areas. It does a great job of staying out of the way of furniture, cords and other obstacles.
It's smarter than the majority of robot vacuums, too thanks to the iRobot Home app, which lets you customize your cleaning settings and prioritize rooms based on dirtiness, set schedules and cleaning times and much more. The app also offers detailed maps of your home, seasonal suggestions, custom cleaning routines, and intuitive smart-home integrations.
This combination robot vac and mop utilizes iRobot's Imprint Smart Mapping technology to recognize objects, such as sofas, counters, and tables. It can be controlled using Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, making it easy to clean your home.
The Roomba J9+, unlike other vacuum and mopping robots, creates a map of your house 7x faster than the previous models. It also labels each space in accordance with the floor type so that it will always be aware of the area you want to vacuum or mop. It also comes with a brand new Turbo Mode which boosts suction power for those tough spots. With iRobot's Dirt Detective, it can analyze your cleaning habits and make adjustments to the cleaning priorities and settings to the most soiled areas of your home.
2. Yeedi M12 Pro+
With its top-quality features and user-friendly app control The Yeedi M12 Pro+ is an excellent competitor in the field of automated vacuum and mop combo robots. Its powerful suction and innovative mopping technology make it an ideal cleaner for smart homes. Its affordable price and smart automation make it an ideal option for families that are on a budget.
Download and launch the Yeedi App and follow the instructions on screen to connect the M12 to your Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you'll be asked to give your robot an unique name. The M12 only supports 2.4GHz networks.
The M12 has several different cleaning options, including mopping and vacuuming. Its clever design lets the M12 map a space in six minutes and adjusts its cleaning path in accordance with the map. Its advanced mopping features include dual spinning pads, as well as electronically controlled water as well as a "True Edge" Adaptive Edge Mopping System that ensures a thorough cleaning of all edges.
In terms of navigation, the M12 uses LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. Its sensors do an excellent job of detecting larger objects like furniture and HVAC vents. They may have difficulty detecting smaller objects, such as cables or small rags. This can cause robots to miss spots.
The M12's built in inclinometer allows it to detect and navigate stairs. It can also automatically return to its OMNI station to dry and wash its mop brushes and refill its water tanks. When the batteries are exhausted and the OMNI Station is empty, the OMNI Station can also clean itself and empty the dustbin when its batteries are low.
3. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is the most cutting-edge robot cleaning, packing an amazing amount of features into an attractive package. It has the highest mopping capacity and a camera that can be used for improved obstacles to avoid and a powerful vacuum that has the ability to detect the carpet it is stepping on. It also comes with advanced technology and voice assistant capabilities.
It is a great mop and vacuum, completing our 1,500-square-foot test area in a mere 101 minutes before running out of battery and returning to its dock. Its mop automatically cleans itself between uses. This feature reduces maintenance costs while keeping its pads clean. A dock sensor is able to detect when a mop's pad becomes dirty and initiates a wash cycle.

The S8 MaxV Ultra, like its predecessors, has an intelligent system which can detect household items like shoes and pet waste using the combination of a camera and LIDAR. It did well in our evaluation of obstacle avoidance with just one minor glitch during my testing (it got stuck unwinding a wool ball that was wrapped around its brush arm).
The S8 MaxV Ultra boasts a new suction power of 10,000pa. power, more than twice its predecessor. This makes it an excellent choice for homes with a lot of carpeting and different types of flooring. The vacuum can be programmed to automatically increase the suction when it comes across dust or crumbs.
Like previous models, multiple docking stations are able to be set up to automate the cleaning and mopping process. The docking station can be connected to the home plumbing system and drain and replenish the water tank after you're done.
4. Dreametech X40 Ultra
The Dreame X40 Ultra is the latest top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop from Dreame, and it offers some features that the company's more expensive models don't have. It has a powerful suction and mop floors easily. It comes with a variety of advanced features like an auto-extending mop head and self-detangling brush rollers. The X40 Ultra also offers automatic self-cleaning of its own base station and dust collection filter. The mop pads are automatically cleaned with hot water, and then drained and the dirty water tank is automatically emptied after each cleaning session.
It has some advanced options for customising the cleaning schedule, like choosing a specific time to start and finish each cycle, or deciding if it should clean carpets prior to mopping. It can be instructed to re-clean areas that are dirty and to increase suction around cat litter and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra is programmable to perform specific tasks, for example, cleaning the kitchen sink or bathroom toilet. It can be programmed to automatically raise the front side brush whenever it detects wet areas, and clean up debris around the edges and baseboards.
The X40 Ultra is easy to set up and use it, with an easy-to-use and user-friendly application and a variety of features. It is quieter than many corded vacuums. The only noises are the occasional low hum of its motor, and brief bursts of sucking when cleaning. Its navigation system is impressive, as it uses an image camera with 3D-structured light and multiple lasers to locate and avoid obstacles. this helps the X40 Ultra achieve one of the highest scores in obstacle avoidance in our tests.
5. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is an impressively powerful mop and vacuum combo that has been designed to be user-friendly. The gunmetal base station fills up its own tank of clean water, empties the dust bin into a smaller container and washes and dries its own mop pads between cleaning sessions. It also has an advanced feature set that allows it to switch between rugs and hard and effectively remove dirt and pet hair from carpets and the thresholds of rooms that are raised.
The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping, thanks to the internal dToF system. It is able to maintain the appearance of a low-profile, while offering excellent detection of objects. It can drive up to walls and avoid steps without falling. It also raises the mop when driving on short-pile or rugs carpets. However, it did struggle a little when encountering carpets with a longer pile and also several large, thick piles of dried-on debris.
Like many robots, the S1 Pro comes ready to roll out of the box and needs only a quick initial mapping run to learn its way around your home. The map will be displayed in the app and you can add or merge rooms as you need to. You can also set up virtual boundaries such as no-mop zones, no-go zones, and no-go areas if you don't wish the robot to touch certain objects.
robot cleaner amazon does a great job of cleaning up spills from hard floors due to its rotating mop head, which puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to mop and vacuum makes it a good option for homes with different types of flooring, but its reliance on a Eufy brand cleaning solution (which is included in the box) could make it less flexible than other robots that let you add your own solutions.
